တရားအားထုတ်သူသည်
ပန်းတိုင်သွားသူဖြစ်ပြီး
ပရိယတ်မြင်ဖြင့်ပန်းတိုင်ကိုသိသူသည်
နိဗ္ဗာန်ကို သာသိပြီး
ပန်းတိုင်သွားသူမဟုတ်သူနှင့်တူ၏

သစ္စာတရားနယ်ပယ်မှာ
ပန်းတိုင်သွားသူအဖြစ်နှင့်သွားမှသာ
နိဗ္ဗာန်၏အကျိုးကျေးဇူးကိုသိမည်ဖြစ်သည်

ဓမ္မကိုမျက်ကွယ်ပြု၍
သစ္စာတရားကိုပစ်ပယ်၍
နိဗ္ဗာန်ကို ရသည်ဟူ၍
ဤလောက၌မရှိသလို
နောက်နောက်လည်းရှိမည်မဟုတ်ပေ

ဓမ္မမှန်ကို ချစ်မြတ်နိုးသူ

အတတ်နှင့် တူသော ဥစ္စာသည် မရှိ။ အတတ်ကို ခိုးသူတို့သည် မယူနိုင်ကုန်။ ဤလောက၌ အတတ်သည်ကား အဆွေခင်ပွန်းဖြစ်၏ ။တမလွန်ဘဝ၌ ချမ်းသာ ကိုဆောင်တက်၏။

ရှင်းချက်။ ။

လူ့ဘဝမှာ အတက်ပညာသည်အရေးအပါဆုံးဖြစ်သည်။ အတက်ပညာရှိလျှင် ယခုဘဝ နောင်ဘဝတို့မှာ ချမ်းသာခြင်းရနိုင်ပေမည်။

There is nothing equal to learning. Thieves cannot steal learning. In this world, friend and mate. It carries happiness to the next life.

Explanation: In human life learning is most important. If one has learnign, one can get happiness in this life as well as in the after- life.

ပျင်းသောသူအား အတတ်ပညာ အဘယ်မှာတတ်အံ့နည်း။ အတတ်ပညာ မ ရှိသောသူအား ဥစ္စာ အဘယ်မှာ ရအံ့နည်း။ ဥစ္စာမရှိသောသူအား အဆွေခင်ပွန်း အဘယ်မှာရအံ့နည်း။ အဆွေခင် ပွန်းမရှိသော သူအား ချမ်းသာ အဘယ်မှာရအံ့ နည်း။ ချမ်းသာမရှိသောသူအား ကောင်းမှုအဘယ် မှာ ရအံ့နည်း။ ကောင်းမှုမရှိ သောသူအား နိဗ္ဗာန်အဘယ်မှာ ရအံ့နည်း။

ရှင်းချက်။ ။ ဤအပိုဒ်သည် ပျင်းရိခြင်း၏ မကောင်းသောအကျိုးဆက်များကို ဖော်ပြထား သည်။ ပျင်းလျှင် အတက်ပညာမရ၊ အတက်ပညာမရလျှင် ဥစ္စာမရ၊ ဥစ္စာမရ လျှင် မိတ်ဆွေမရ၊ မိတ်ဆွေမရလျှင် ချမ်းသာခြင်းမရ၊ ချမ်းသာခြင်းမရလျှင် ကုသိုလ် မရ၊ ကုသိုလ်မရလျှင် နိဗ္ဗာန်ရောက်မည် မဟုတ်ဟူ၍ မကောင်းကျိုးအဆက်များကို ဖော်ပြထားသည်။ အပျင်းမရှိဖို့ အဓိက ဖြစ်သည်။

How will the lazy person acquire knowledge? How will the person without knowledge get wealth? How will the person without wealth get friends? How will the person without
friends obtain happiness? How will the person without happiness gain merit? How will the person without merit attain Nibbbana?

Explanation: This stanza shows the series of bad effects of laziness. A lazy person will not get knowledge, then wealth. then friends, then happiness, then merit, and then such a person will not attaion Nibbana. It is important not to be lazy.
