EV charging stations announce price adjustments

Electric Vehicles (EV) charging stations amended prices on 15 October, the EV operating and infrastructures implementation committee announced.
The committee instructed charging stations to amend the charges in line with the electricity price cap and report it to the committee.
According to the decision of the coordination meeting of the committee, charging stations, and EV taxi operating companies held on 11 September 2024, charges are set at K700 per unit of EV passenger vehicles and taxis and K750 per unit of private cars.
The charging station companies, EV charger stations, private companies and hotel & shopping centres are notified of the price adjustment. The stations should declare the rates with a price sign display to energy consumers starting from 15 October 2024. — NN/KK
